Goodbye George

This is George Lowery. 

George was a homeless man than spent his final years living in Williamson Park in Lancaster. 

I met him when I used to work nights there. He was always very nice to me and anyone else that he met in the park. He battled alcohol addiction. He didn’t like being trapped inside. He was a character. He was very much part of park life

On Monday George was found dead in the park. He was 54 years old. 

George was more than just a homeless man. He was a man who lived an extraordinary life. A man that had a story that will probably never be told.
